Meet Liz

(she/her)

Growing up, I was fortunate to experience therapy during my adolescent years and early 20’s. It was a truly transformative time, helping me navigate some of the most challenging moments in my life. This personal experience inspired my passion for the mental health field, allowing me to understand firsthand the power of the therapeutic process.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Florida State University and hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) at the University of Denver. My professional experience includes working with adults in addiction clinics, college counseling centers, and community mental health settings, as well as children diagnosed with ASD. I have worked with clients from all walks of life, addressing issues such as trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, OCD, identity concerns, and more.

My goal as a therapist is to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can exhale and focus on themselves, free from the pressures of the outside world. Often, we feel the need to present a façade of stability and strength. In therapy, I aim to create an environment where clients can begin to let go of that mask, explore their true selves, and work toward meaningful change. Guided by Audre Lorde's words, "There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives," I approach each client with a deep respect for the complexity of their experiences and the unique intersections of their identity.

I am certified in Yoga Nidra, a sleep-based meditation that promotes relaxation and helps people connect with themselves on a deep, restorative level. I incorporate many of the techniques I’ve learned from Yoga Nidra into my clinical practice, guiding clients toward deeper mindfulness and a more flexible perspective on their thoughts. My sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual, incorporating a range of therapeutic activities.  To me, therapy is more than just conversation—it's about creating meaningful experiences that foster self-connection and growth.

As your therapist, my role is to meet you where you are, offering insights and helping you identify patterns to guide you on your path toward healing. I am committed to being on your team, providing steadfast support as you navigate your most painful moments and emerge stronger.
